Money Dates are one of my very favorite practices in the financial therapy toolbox. They can be anything you need them to be, but at their core, they’re about dedicating time to your money relationship.

If I could craft a Money Date for you, I would weave a window of time for compassion, mindfulness, and gentle curiosity.

I would craft accouterments to delight your senses and infuse your Money Date with delicious presence and joy.

A richly decadent drink to sip on.

A luxurious candle for you to light with intention and set the mood to meet your needs.

A beautiful journal, of course, to honor and heal, release and claim, hope and dream your way through your money journey.

Before you began your Money Date, I would give you two books. My Art of Money book, with the tools and frameworks needed to guide you through the ebbs and flows of your relationship with money.

And the second book, my Art of Money Workbook, which guides you step-by-step through mindful body-based exercises and practical money tools to help you navigate this path.

My wish for you and your relationship with money is that you have the resources you need to travel through the tender places with grace and care.

That you would cultivate money healing and money management skills, but also that you would taste, smell, feel, and immerse yourself in the full-bodied knowing of peace around money.
