"Bari was trauma-informed before it was a thing… "Bari was trauma-informed before it was a thing…”

"It’s been amazing for me to work with Bari over the last decade.

Personally, being able to do this work in the Art of Money community helped transform the crippling anxiety, shame and fear that I sometimes felt when making money decisions. I’ve gone from chronically underearning to confidently earning a solid living with ease. My debt has come down, my credit has improved.

The biggest gift has been feeling less anxious about money–even with big changes afoot like having a child and getting divorced. Overall, I feel way more grounded and confident about my ability to take care of myself and my family financially. And, I have a solid money practice that I lean on to this day.

From the perspective of a therapist and a coach, The Art of Money method has deeply informed the way I hold my own clients when it comes to money. Bari’s modeling has also deeply informed how I have set up my own business, how I do marketing and how I think about my fees.

Additionally, Bari’s work is fundamentally trauma-informed money work and she has been doing “trauma-informed” way before it became popular. Back when I started with her, nobody was really saying that and yet that’s exactly what Bari was doing, honoring the pace of the body going really slow and having a non-shaming approach.

I really do not have enough words to tell you how grateful I am for you and this powerful, gentle, depthful approach to money work. I’m ecstatic that she’s now offering this mentorship program for other folks who want to learn financial therapy. I just can’t imagine a better teacher.” – Sonya Brewer, SOMATIC AND TRAUMA PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Coaches, therapists, and financial professionals have always been part of my programs, even when I was teaching my very first group financial therapy sessions in my living room almost twenty years ago.

Now we finally have a place to call our own, The Art of Money Mentorship Program.

Why I Created a Money Mentor Program for Therapist Why I Created a Money Mentor Program for Therapists, Coaches, and Financial Professionals.

Every day you go to work, showing up for your clients.

So, when your private therapy client dissolves into tears over a recent fight about money with their partner, you focus on different ways they could communicate better and create more space to honor and celebrate their differences. (Because you know you don’t have the tools to dive into the psychology of money and relationships.)

Or maybe you’re meeting with a new client, discussing the estate planning process when they start to become visibly anxious and overwhelmed. For all the expertise you bring to helping people craft their financial legacy, you were never taught how to navigate the big money emotions like grief and fear that come up along the way. (This is a painfully common occurrence in your line of work, but you don’t have the words or the training to offer more meaningful support.)

Or perhaps you’re in a meeting with a financial coaching client who’s hitting their stride in their business and really making a mark on their industry. However, despite record sales growth, they’re still paying themselves as if the business were barely making ends meet. No matter how you crunch the numbers, you can’t convince them that it’s safe and reasonable to do otherwise. (And you don’t have the skills or the knowledge to help them unpack their money emotions around work, survival, and success.)

You simply don’t have the training or resources to help them navigate the emotions and psychology of money. (We can help you with this in our new mentor program!)

You know you want a safe space to do your own money work so that you can learn to bring more compassion and understanding to your own relationship with money.

You know that when you do that, the effects will ripple outwards into your life, your relationships, and your work with clients.

This is why I created this new program for you.

The Art of Money Mentorship Program is the safe space, the learning journey, and the community you’ve needed all along.

Registration is open now and the program runs June 1st - September 30th.

Dear therapists, coaches, and financial profession Dear therapists, coaches, and financial professionals,

I have exciting news for you.

We just opened the doors to The Art of Money Mentorship Program!

This is the first new program I’ve offered in 11 years, and it’s the comprehensive training that people have been asking (and sometimes begging) me to create for the last 7 years.

If you’ve been waiting for a way to go deeper into the Art of Money work, for a way to get the support and guidance you need to bring these tools and teachings to your clients, today, my friend, is your day.

The Art of Money Mentorship Program is an opportunity to finally step into a safe space to not only do your own personal money work, but to root your journey of growth in a community of other therapists, coaches, and financial professionals who are doing the same work.

But that’s only half of what this mentorship program is about. The other half is designed to support you in finding ways to bring the tools from the Art of Money methodology into your work with clients.

It’s chock full of tools and practices to bridge the gap between your professional training, and what’s actually happening when you’re working directly with clients and all their money emotions.

In a nutshell, the Art of Money Mentorship Program is a 4-month, intimate, safe, expansive journey to help you transform your own relationship with money while giving you the tools you need to help your clients do the same.

We’ll go far deeper into the Art of Money methodology and map out ways for you to bring this life-changing work to your clients.

Weekly zoom mentor calls with me, Q&A's with guest mentors, and access to a private community space to connect with other professionals who get where you’re coming from because they’ve been there, too. That’s all part of the program experience.

Transforming your relationship with money is smoother, sweeter, and more powerful when you let yourself receive expert, loving mentorship and support.
