I’ve been dropping hints about this around the internet for a few weeks, but today’s the day to tell you the news!
It’s time for something a little different…
A new version of The Art of Money program, which is my main, flagship online course that I’ve been teaching for the last 11 years.
This is the course that became the best vehicle for teaching my unique financial therapy methods using a three phase structure of Money Healing, Money Practices, and Money Maps.
If you don’t mind, I’ll start with the punchline and then unpack things a little for you. So here’s the scoop!
- You can sign up for The Art of Money for a discounted price for the next 16 days. (This is the first time I’ve ever offered a discount in 11 years of running this program.)
- The program will now happen over a 12 week period instead of 12 months.
The teaching of all the main concepts and tools will happen live, with me, each week - That’s a lot of big changes, so let me unpack things and explain a bit about the why behind them.
The Discount.
We’ve run The Art of Money program as a year-long course for the last 11 years. (Before then, I was teaching my work in all kinds of different course and class formats since 2001.)
In those 11 years of time, 5,342 people have been through the journey of this program with me, our guest teachers, and our wonderful alumni guides.
Over those 11 years, I’ve always kept my radar turned on to listen to what would help folks the most in terms of what to add to the program, what to remove, or how to teach it.
After a good bit of listening over the last year, we’ve decided it’s time to switch things up a bit to help address some things we’re noticing in the Art of Money community (namely, that a lot of people seem to be feeling tighter financially than normal.)
To that end, between today, September 3rd, and Thursday, September 19th, for the first time in the history of this program, you can sign up for The Art of Money at a discounted price.
The Art of Money will be taught live over 12 weeks.
Yes, you heard that right! I’ll be teaching the topics for each module in the program live, together as a group on video calls within 12 weeks.
If you’ve wanted to sign up for The Art of Money but the year-long format has felt a little intimidating, this new format is for you.
And if you’re wondering, yes, you’ll have lifetime access to all of the supporting learning materials inside each module (I’ve been doing this work for 23 years, so it won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.)
For 11 years, the Art of Money program has been mostly self-paced learning each month, where folks have had access to each month’s worth of learning materials, and then a monthly 90-minute call where folks could ask me anything they want and even get some mini financial therapy from me.
But it feels like it’s time to go back to the roots of my work, when I was teaching everything live in people’s living rooms and rented office spaces around the Bay Area in California.
Part of going back to that old-school, teaching-in-person vibe is continuing to offer one of people’s favorite parts of The Art of Money experience: the co-working sessions on Saturdays.
They’re part ritual, part support group, and part “get things done” jam sessions where everyone is knocking things off their money to-do list together.
I’ll share more details about this new format for the program in the coming emails.
