PROGRAM STRUCTURE + LOGISTICS

On February 1st, the community aspect of our program officially begins. Mark your calendar, because this is a big, beautiful day! This is when our private Facebook group opens, so you can connect with Bari, our team of TA’s, and a loving global community of kindred Money Explorers. Our community coaching calls will also begin in February, and a new Monthly Mission goes out on February 1st (as well and every month afterward).

We open the program for registration in October and January. When you sign up for the program during either of those registration periods, the program begins for YOU.

When you join during the January registration, you’ll instantly get full access to our beautiful private Members’ Area, where all of our course materials live: step-by-step coursework, teachings, worksheets, audio messages, interviews, and so much more. We’ll roll out this content in an easy-to-follow way throughout the year, so you don’t get overwhelmed. But if you’re raring to get started in January, you’ll have plenty of wonderful, introductory content available in January that we refer to as our “Preliminary Monthly Mission.”

When you join during the early-bird registration in October, you get immediate access to our private member area. There you will have access to our early-bird materials, which includes a (gentle) Kickstarter Call, that is recorded, along with material and handouts to help you get started. You will also get access to our library which has many interviews and resources that we have been collecting and creating for 16+ years. You will also receive supportive love-note emails from November – December to help you take some baby steps.

So, you see, as soon as you sign up, you will get access to the private member area and the program begins, for you … but the community aspects of the program kick off on February 1st.

There are 12 months of content — or “Monthly Missions” — from January – December. January is considered our Preliminary Monthly Mission, and there are 11 other Monthly Missions following this. Additionally the private Members’ Area has a huge Resource Library of additional interviews and materials we’ve been creating for the past 16+ years.

If you joined Art of Money during the early-bird registration then you’ll receive all the early-bird bonus content as well!

Ahhh, we’ve got you covered on this one. You will have access to the private Members’ Area that houses all of the content from Art of Money 2019 for years and years to come (for as long as I am running the Art of Money business, which I foresee will be many years). So you are welcome to keep coming back to the material over and over at your own pace.

Please note our Facebook group will complete on December 31st, 2019.

You can also choose to continue as an alumnus (about 25% of the community are alumni) and you’ll receive a generous, 50% alumni discount.

We’re welcoming people from all over the world, with diverse schedules, lifestyles, and working hours for this program — and we’re doing everything we can to make it easy and convenient for everyone to participate. So, we’re alternating the days and times for our calls: some will be during the day, others will be in the evenings.

We’d love for you to make every single call, but you truly don’t need to be there live to enjoy amazing transformative work.

If you can’t make the calls, don’t fret! We’ll be recording every single call; they are yours to keep forever. ALL of the recordings are downloadable so you can enjoy them while you are exercising, driving in the car, while nursing your child, etc. And you’ll always have the opportunity to email questions for Bari and the guest teachers if you won’t be there live. Even if you’re not on the call, you won’t miss a beat. We’re here for you — no matter where (or when!) in the world you are.

The Art of Money is mostly self-directed, so you can go at your own pace, selecting which pieces speak to you (and which you have time to do!). But there are also many community components to the program, which many people find invaluable to their experience.

All of the Art of Money content is organized in a private online member area, which you’ll get access to as soon as you sign up for the program. Once you get there, you’ll find a “How to Use this Program Manual” along with a video tutorial to help you navigate the private members area.

There’s a very clear framework to the program. We move through the 3 main phases of the Art of Money methodology: Money Healing, Money Practices, and Money Maps, spending 3 months in each phase.

On the first of each month, you’ll receive an email letting you know that the new content — the Monthly Mission — is live in the private members area. This includes all of the guest teacher interviews (mostly audio), audio teachings from Bari, worksheets, articles, and resources for that month’s theme. There’s also a large library of additional interviews and resources that you can access whenever you’re ready.

Keep in mind: once a Monthly Mission is unlocked, you can always go back to it anytime you like: later in the year OR years to come (remember: you have access to ALL of these materials for the lifetime of the program!).

You’ll also receive Weekly Love Notes (via email) every Friday to keep you inspired and help you take next steps. So, you’ll hear from us via email weekly and monthly, keeping you engaged with the program’s framework.

Within that framework, you’re completely free to engage with the material at your own pace, in ways that work for you. It’s up to you to find the best time to listen to the Guest Teacher interviews, for example, and to complete the exercises for that month’s Monthly Mission.

Some people love to complete every single exercise and listen to every single Guest Teacher interview. But most people pick and choose which pieces of content speak most to them. You’ll find loads of support within the program for helping you make this experience work for YOU: encouraging you to go at your own rhythm.

There is also a group coaching call with Bari (and your fellow Art of Moneyers) once a month. You’ll find the schedule of these calls within the program (and get reminder emails). You can participate LIVE via phone or web browser. Since we have folks participating from all around the world, not everyone will be able to make every call live, and that’s OK. We record all of these calls, so you can listen whenever works for you. We also make it easy for you to submit questions anonymously ahead of time.

We also have a private, super secret Art of Money Facebook community. This is where you can really connect with other Art of Moneyers (whenever suits you), ask for advice relating to the material, be witnessed in your journey, and get support. Bari is active here, as are the four Transformation Assistants. The TA’s provide support here within the group setting, NOT one-on-one. That’s so the whole group can benefit from everyone’s questions and answers.

So, there are many different components to The Art of Money, and you can choose which parts are best for you. Overall, the program is mostly self-paced. We deliver content each month in the private Members’ Area, Weekly Love Notes via email, a Facebook community you can access whenever you like, and a monthly group coaching call you can attend live or listen to whenever works for you.

ALL OF THAT CONTENT, OH MY!

Our program has a very clear structure.

There are three main phases: Money Healing, Money Practices, and Money Maps. We spend four months in each phase.

Each month, there’s a specific theme — or “Monthly Mission” — with clear exercises delivered in audio + written format. You’ll find audio teachings from Bari, step-by-step practices, and several (audio) Guest Teacher interviews for each Monthly Mission. All of this content lives in our private, online Members’ Area, which also includes my entire Resource Library with additional interviews, recommended reading, and more.

We do a live, two-hour community call each month where you can ask questions, get guidance, and get live, laser coaching from me. These calls are SO wonderful. They’re also recorded, so you can access them even if you can’t make it live.
You’ll also receive a Weekly Love Note from us each Friday with support, encouragement, and next steps to keep you going and connected.

Finally, there’s also our private Facebook community where Bari and the TA’s hang out. This is a very active, global community where AOM’ers connect with each other and our team to ask questions, get support, celebrate victories, and enjoy that oh-so-needed witnessing.

This is completely up to you. Some people have gone step by step, completing every exercise, in order. Others jump around, cherrypicking the interviews and practices that seem most “alive” for them. Most people pick and choose which pieces are best for them.

There’s a lot of material available to you! You have access to it all, but it’s up to you to create the time and space to sit with, practice, and implement everything you are learning.

We never know what kind of year we’ll have. So this is a journey of pacing yourself throughout the year and doing as much healing work as you can, creating practices that work for you. Everyone starts in a different place and ends in a different place. And you’ll find support, suggestions, and tools inside the program to help you go at the best pace for you.

You can truly spend as little or as much time as works for you.

Like most things, what you put in will be what you get out. There is no right or required, way to do this. Everyone will have their rhythm, and everyone will be supported to find, nurture, and accept that rhythm. I will support you in crafting your own journey here!

There is an incredible framework as you are ready, and you have lifetime access to all of the materials, to return to again and again. Everything is recorded, which frees you up even more to go at your own pace. Also since it’s a year long program, your energy input will of course fluctuate with your life — and we welcome that.

There’s no such thing.

Actually, this is such a Big Hairy Deal for most people already, in their money relationships (“I should already have figured all of this out by now!”) that there’s a whole, big teaching on it within the Art of Money program, which I refer to again and again, throughout the year. “I’m so behind” is an old, outdated script that so many of us fall into, and it just keeps us stuck and ashamed. It’s not helpful. So, if you’re already worrying about falling behind, you have this teaching to look forward to, which you will LOVE.

In the meantime, just keep in mind that how (and how much) you engage with this program is up to you. Nobody will wag their finger at you for not finishing every exercise or missing a community call! A year is a long time and lots will happen.
Some folks will do every piece and part of the program and engage with it in the exact order that I am presenting it.

Some will pick and choose which exercises and Guest Teacher interviews are most needed and interesting. Some will jump around in the different phases and themes. This is one of the biggest side teachings of my work: YOU will get to listen to what’s best for you and craft your journey in the best way for you. There is no “right way” to approach this. It’s about finding YOUR right way and showing up fully for that.

Yes, there truly is an embarrassment of riches! But it’s given to you in the spirit of generosity and support — NOT obligation. You will be reminded again and again to honor YOUR pacing and self-care — and that you are never “behind.”
Our Facebook community will close down on December 31, 2019. But you will still have access to your 2019 member’s area for the lifetime of the program (years to come!). That means: all the teaching materials, the resource library, guest teacher interviews, recorded group coaching calls, and even program emails will still be there for you, whenever you need them. (Whew!)

Many people choose to continue the Art of Money journey with us for a second or third year — because they love the ongoing support and community AND this money work is truly the work of a lifetime, growing and evolving and deepening, right along with us. If you choose to continue, you’ll receive a generous, 50% alumni discount. (Sweet, right?)

Yup.

You can also choose to continue as an alum (about 25% of the community are alumni) and you’ll receive a generous, 50% alumni discount.

THE COMMUNITY CONNECTION + FACEBOOK

The truth is, we’re not sure yet! We won’t know until we close registration.

In our inaugural year, we welcomed 320 people from around the world. In 2018, we had 500+ community members. Our community gets a little bigger each year. 2019 will be the seventh year of The Art of Money, and we’re expecting our biggest, most diverse group, yet. But don’t fret: we’ve beefed up our support team to make sure you get the cheerleading and guidance and handholding you deserve!

Our mission is to create a global conscious money movement. So our community will be rich, diverse, and wide — and I’ve made sure there will be enough love & support to go around.

In addition to guidance from Bari (that’s me!), we have a wonderful team of TA’s (Transformation Assistants!). I’ve hand-picked these wise ones to help me hold and guide this journey, and offer this community their invaluable support, guidance, and help.

We trust 100% that the constellation of this group will be perfect, and have lovingly designed and refined and re-refined this program to welcome and support a large number.

This is not a small, intimate mastermind group (and we’ve priced it to reflect that). I taught very small group formats for years, and I love the deep work that can happen there! But when we opened the Art of Money program (a new teaching format, a new price point, a new experience), we intentionally grew our community. We want this work to be more affordable and accessible for a much more diverse group of people.

I still love creating an intimate, nurturing loving environment — and we think we’ve found an elegant way to offer that experience within a large community through this program. We’re committed to every member of this community: if you show up, your questions will be answered and your process will be witnessed.

One amazing way to get heard and held throughout this year is in our private Facebook group. I have been utterly blown away by the community conversations in the Facebook groups for previous years. Utterly. Blown. Away. Plus, our TA’s (remember: there are FIVE incredible Transformation Assistants) will keep close tabs on the Facebook community, chiming in with resources and guidance for you. Most of all, I’m incredibly active in the Facebook group. Yes: you’ll see my smiling face in there all the time, cheering you on!

Remember: you can email your questions prior to group coaching calls, you can speak during calls, and you can post in the private Facebook group any time. I’m excited to be your guide, and I also know that so much of your learning will happen through each other.

That said, The Art of Money is a group program, not Private Financial Therapy.

If you want to dig into your process while receiving my undivided attention, you may consider private Financial Therapy with me.

I will be offering 1 – 2 private Financial Therapy sessions to members of The Art of Money in 2019. This is NOT included in the price of The Art of Money (it’s an optional addition). I have very few spots available for private Financial Therapy, and Art of Money students will get first dibs. So, if you’re interested in private Financial Therapy with me in 2019, your best bet is to join The Art of Money 2019.

You are most welcome to this community and you can engage as much — or as little — as you like. We’ll make every effort to make you feel as comfortable as possible and help you know that this is a safe place.

Sit back and watch. Listen. Witness. Be as loud or quiet as you need. Share your stories or keep them to yourself. We trust you know what’s best for you. And we’re here if you need help along the way.

Yep. We need your kind too. Remember: you get 24/7 access on Facebook, plus community calls every month to get your questions answered, your process witnessed, and your journey supported.

Frankly? Because it works way better.

We’ve tried other online forums and noticed that people didn’t continue engaging with them. (Other online community leaders have noticed the same thing.) Facebook simply works better for keeping people engaged.

Many of you are already on Facebook, so it’s incredibly easy for you to interact with your new community. And in our first two years, we had some people join Facebook just for the Art of Money — and use it easily and successfully.

Our Facebook group is not just private, it’s secret. That means: nobody can see that you’re in this group unless they’re in it, too. (We do set the group to private, instead of secret, for the first two weeks of the program, so we can add you to the group. Once everybody is in, we change it to secret.)

Nobody can see what you post or what other people post there unless they’re also in the group. And, of course, it’s 100% up to you what you share there and what you choose to keep private. We have found that people get amazing support through the Facebook group, and we do encourage that you show up here with questions, quandaries, and insights — just because we want you to get the very most out of your Art of Money experience.

Absolutely not! While we make every effort to keep our Facebook community private and secure, we understand that some people will choose not to participate there. It’s OK! You can still receive and achieve a tremendous amount from the program, even without the part of community feature.

  • You’ll still get all of the teachings, content, emails, recordings, and more (an exceptional amount of material!!), held in a private member area that you can access on your own schedule (no Facebook required).
  • You’ll still get our Weekly Love notes delivered to your inbox, which inspire a supportive and community feel.
  • You’ll still be able to engage with the community in our monthly Q&A calls (with Bari).
  • You’ll still be able to email me (and my team) any questions you have.

The community participation in the Facebook group feels essential for some people — but it’s not for everyone. Some of you crave community; others want to do this work more on their own. If engaging in the Facebook community doesn’t feel important to you, you’ll still receive a tremendous amount of value from the program — if you show up for yourself.

Some folks like to join the Facebook group, but simply sit back and watch what others have to share. Some like to keep to themselves for a bit, at first — watch, listen, and learn from the community — and then decide to chime in more and more. Some people say “heck, no” to the Facebook group at first, but end up choosing to join down the road. Others create a Facebook account just for the Art of Money program. You’re welcome to join the Facebook group or not, participate or not — it’s truly up to you!

It comes down to this: you need to show up in the best way for you. And nobody can know what that is better than you. We completely understand that. And we welcome a wide range of participation styles. As long as you know you’re showing up fully — in the way that works best for you — you’ll progress beautifully.

No. This is NOT a membership, and you cannot cancel partway through. The Art of Money is a product — an experience that unfolds over time — and you may pay for it in one lump sum OR by monthly installments.

We offer the monthly payment option to make The Art of Money more accessible for folks, but it is NOT like a gym membership or magazine subscription that can be cancelled at any time.

If you choose the monthly payment option, your payments will be automatically withdrawn each month via our payment system, and that starts right away, regardless of when you sign up for The Art of Money.

So, if you sign up during our earlybird registration on October 28th, for example, your payments will automatically be withdrawn around the 28th of each month. If you sign up during regular registration on January 20th, for example, your payments will automatically be withdrawn around the 20th of each month.

Since the payment plan is for 12 monthly payments, earlybirds finish paying for the course several months before the end of the program.

No. The Art of Money is a non-refundable investment in your relationship to money. We gave a lot of thought as to whether or not we’d offer a refund policy — and we’ve decided not to offer one. This is not a product you can try out and return, and it’s not a monthly membership that you can “pause” or opt-out of if life gets in the way. It’s a year-long, participatory experience that you must commit to. It’s an unfolding process that empowers you to dance with your money relationship, even (especially!) when life gets sticky.

For more on this, scroll down to the section of the FAQ on the Big Why behind our no-refund policy. (This is also listed on the program page right below the payment buttons.)

We’ve thought long and hard about this behind the scenes and we don’t offer scholarships (full or partial) at this time.

We’ve found that it is truly challenging to assess the real need behind a scholarship because being able to “afford” something can be very relative based on what we value or how we feel.

We’ve also learned that when people don’t pay for this work, they’re actually far less likely to get a lot out of it. People tend to get the most out of the program when they invest in it, emotionally and financially. And we want everyone in our community to benefit as much as possible from the Art of Money experience!

It’s also important to clarify that we have kept the price point of the year-long Art of Money course the same for 7 years and have not increased it. (Please see “Why I’m NOT raising the cost of the Art of Money – and proud of it.” for more on this.) We feel we are doing our best to keep the program as reasonably priced and accessible for the most amount of people in our community. And, we get this is truly all relative.

If you feel that $88.00 per month is not possible for you, we now have our beautiful book available by a similar name, The Art of Money: A Life-Changing Guide to Financial Happiness and loads of free content on our site via our blog articles and our 7 day free mini Art of Money course. And, if you need a small support group, please set up a bookclub using our Art of Money bookclub guide, right here.

The Art of Money is a non-refundable investment in your relationship with money. It’s an invitation to listen, learn, connect, explore, and transform. It’s a year-long experience that can be paid monthly or in full — but it is NOT a monthly membership program that you can cancel and opt-out of at any time.

My team and I thought long and hard about whether or not to offer a “30-day money-back guarantee” or some other sort of refund/opt-out policy. Ultimately, we decided it didn’t feel right to us to offer one. We asked ourselves a lot of questions about this and finally recognized it as an opportunity to provide a conscious money teaching — right here in your decision-making process, before even clicking “buy.”

Here are our reasons for not offering refunds or an option to opt-out of The Art of Money once you’ve joined:

Reason #1: Signing up for AOM is your chance to make a clear, confident money decision.
A big part of conscious money work is empowering you to engage every money decision mindfully, lovingly, truthfully, and directly. By not offering refunds or allowing folks to opt-out of this program, we asked you to make the truest decision for you, right when you decided to join the program.

Reason #2: We’ve given you everything you needed to make an informed decision.
That’s why the Art of Money program page and this FAQ page are so thorough. We also give you samples of the learning experience from inside the program, a Golden Nuggets series to get a great overview of my approach to money work, as well as free content series like Money Mochas and Money Memoirs. It’s important to us to help you make an empowered, informed decision.

Reason #3: The transformation we’re offering can only be measured by you.
If you engage with the entirety of this program — all the coaching calls, exercises, community support, and resources — if you do the deep inner work and implement the practical steps we recommend — we’re confident you’ll experience profound shifts, in your money relationship and beyond.

Yet what these look like will be different for each participant. We offer a helpful framework — but the responsibility for what you get out of it belongs to you, and you alone. Some folks choose to do every single exercise — others may pick and choose from what we offer and still benefit tremendously.

Some members already have clarity around their numbers, but need help being more gentle and forgiving around money. Others might already overflow with financial compassion, yet need help with a nuts ‘n bolts money practice. You might need help recovering from debt — or you may have an overabundance of money that feels equally overwhelming. The shifts you experience are unique to your financial history, situation, and goals.

Reason #4: When you’re all in, you’re all in.
This experience will most likely challenge you. Holy moly, will it stir up resistance — and sometimes that looks like falling behind in the program, getting triggered by lessons or teachers, or even wanting to throw the towel in completely.
It will flow through phases of excitement and grief, clarity and difficulty. Often the biggest breakthroughs come just after the greatest resistance.

By denying you an escape route when things get tough, we hope to encourage you to work through your tough spots — whether they come in Month 1 or Month 12. We’re inviting you to be an active co-creator in this experience, to trust the process, and commit to it.

Reason #5: Life happens … but devotion is powerful.
Lots of life happens in a year — including the year you spend within the Art of Money.
Things will come up, over these 12 months. Inside the program and outside of it. You might face births, deaths, job shifts, moves, sticky family situations, health issues, life-changing parties, ups and downs and twists and turns.

But this happens every year. And no matter what’s happening, money is still there. Money still needs to be faced.
You may find yourself in such a time crunch this year, you need to take a few weeks or even a few months away from the program. This happens. But you’ll still have access to the program when you’re ready to return to it.

Or, you might find yourself in the thick of a tough time and be comforted and reassured and uplifted by the community and resources and guidance you have access to within The Art of Money. This happens a lot, too! Especially because so many of our big life challenges contain big money challenges.

It’s up to you — and only you — to commit to this deep work, not only when it’s convenient, but especially when things get tough. Because devotion is beautiful. And it’s all and only yours to claim. But speaking of all that …

Reason #6: You get access to the program for the life of the program, which will be many, many years into the future from now.

Every recording and resource we offer is yours, for the life of the program. So even if you hit resistance in the moment, or if “life happens” during this year, you may reconnect with these teachings in a few months and suddenly glean all their value.

FOR COUPLES

No. Take advantage of our special pricing for couples: $108/month OR a 1-time payment of $988.

This couples pricing is just slightly more than the price for an individual. We want to make it as easy as possible for couples to share this journey, because we know just how powerful it can be when you do deep money work together.

We’re not allowing couples to join for the price of one for two reasons. First, we’ve noticed that sharing access with others doesn’t actually do them a huge favor: when people make a financial investment, they’re far more likely to follow through and take full advantage of the program. And second, we’ve realized that we do need to charge a little more for couples, so we can cover the expenses and the oodles of time and support you’ll receive from our team.

Yes, goodness, absolutely, yes! Even if you’re journeying solo — join. Your clarity and empowerment are yours to claim.

And you never know — your honey may well catch a glimpse of your transformation and decide to join you down the road. We’ve been amazed by the what happens when just one partner shows up for this work. First, little shifts happen. You claim more empowerment. You become more clear, honest, and loving — with yourself and with your partner. And then, over time, bigger shifts happen.

We’ve seen mountains moved in this gentle, loving way. And many times, the willing partner is pleasantly surprised to find their spouse/partner/honey getting curious about this work down the road. We’re not advocating being pushy here! But we are advocating doing the work you are inspired to do — because when you commit to your own healing, it ripples out through the rest of your life in wonderful, irresistible ways.

If you’re still feeling concerned about doing this work when your partner isn’t on the same page with you, we think you’ll love this sample content page. It includes a clip from behind-the-scenes of the Art of Money, from one of our monthly Q&A calls, and Bari addresses this very issue with one of the community members.

With love: no. The couples pricing is only for people in an intimate love relationship.
We know that the other relationships in your life might involve a lot of “money stuff.” Whether it’s a mother-daughter relationship, a close friend, or a business partner, you might find yourself talking about money quite a bit — or needing to but not knowing how.

But we do not extend the couples pricing to this myriad of other relationships, no matter how close they may be or financially relevant they may be.

You see, couples have a shared money journey in a specific way that business partners, friends, and family members don’t. There’s support, resources, and education for this within the Art of Money program that allows us to offer pricing for this particular relationship — but not for other relationships.

In our time offering this work we’ve learned that when people don’t pay for the program, they’re actually far less likely to get a lot out of it. And we want everyone in our community to show up and benefit as much as possible from the Art of Money experience. So our firm boundary around sharing this material isn’t about stinginess — it’s actually about love.
We’re doing everything we can to make The Art of Money accessible to a wide community. That’s why we lowered the price when we turned this into a year-long program … and we haven’t increased the price in seven years.

When you do your own money work, you’ll find the benefits rippling throughout many areas of your life. Plus, you’ll get support around conscious communication, entrepreneurship, and beyond in the Art of Money to help you with these other relationships.

We’re so happy that you’re excited to share this with others in your life! We love it when friends and family join the program at the same time. This work is so rare and against the grain, we can use as many close allies as we can get. We hope you’ll send the program page their way … and we trust that anyone who’s ready for this work will sign up.

HOW MUCH BARI DO I GET?

I love you, too! I want you to know: The Art of Money gets tons of my love and attention. If you need me, I’m here — within reason and time limitations. And if you show up and ask for help, you’ll get it, in droves.

You have direct access to me in our live, 2-hour group coaching calls every single month. That’s your chance to raise your hand and get live support and laser coaching from me. If you have a question and are too shy to ask live on the group coaching call (or won’t be able to make it live), email me beforehand and I’ll do my best to answer it on the call. I’ll read your question without sharing your name (so it’s anonymous).

I’m also extremely active in our private Facebook group. If you need some quick tips or support — or just want to share your latest triumph! — post there. I’m very active there, but so are our wonderful team of TA’s.

While I’m the main guide, you also have access to my hand-picked team of phenomenal Transformation Assistants. I trust and love them — and have trained them on supporting you. They’re very active behind-the-scenes, via email, and in our Facebook group, and will offer you their own insightful, loving guidance.

I’m all yours. You are so brave to show up for this work, and I care deeply about getting you the support you need! That’s why I make myself so available to you: in the Facebook group and in our group coaching calls.

And, I’ve already heard from some of you that you’d love some additional, quality time, one-on-one with me.

I’ll be opening up sessions of Private Financial Therapy with me in 2019, and Art of Money members get first dibs. Each Art of Moneyer will have access to one or two slots of single-serving, 60-minute sessions with me.

These are NOT included in the price of the Art of Money: they’re additional private sessions with me. These sessions usually sell out extremely quickly when I open them up to the larger community (like: within 24 hours), so that’s why I’m making them available first and foremost to YOU, my Art of Money members. (I most likely won’t open them up to the larger community in 2019.)

If you hit a rough patch or just know you could really use some personalized support — at any point in this journey — 1 – 2 of these sessions are available to you! Learn more about private Financial Therapy with me right here.

You’ll also have access to our amazing team of Transformation Assistants, each of whom has her own specialty for private coaching and support. I know you will fall in love with these women, as I have!

Some TA support will be available to you under the Art of Money 2019 Program umbrella (in the private Facebook group). And, if you’d like private support from any of these wonderful ladies, you’re oh-so-welcome to additionally sign up for it throughout the year!

Finally: if you need support from any other kind of financial pro, we make every effort to connect you with the best. In my decades of money work, I’ve created a lengthy list of top, trustworthy financial experts, and you’re welcome to the full Rolodex: bookkeepers, accountants, trainers, coaches, planners, and on and on.

IS IT REALLY FOR ME?

This money work is a lifelong journey. The material you have already encountered will reappear as the foundation of this experience. However, everything is updated: this is the fullest, most current culmination and evolution of my work. Plus, I’ll be teaching live in our monthly group coaching calls and weekly email love. There are so many new teachings from me, and brand new teachings from the guest teachers. Not to mention, you’ll be in the company of a brand new, and no doubt, stunning community of Money Adventurers.

In short: yes, it’s so worth it. We welcome you, veteran students.

You are so brave and SO welcome! Everyone hears the “call” to work on money at different times in their lives and in different ways. But when you hear that call — that is, when you know it’s time to look money in the eye and make some deep changes — well, there’s no need to wait. Start now.

No. Instead, we’ll support you in choosing the best one for you. You’ll be guided to make a great decision for you and your needs, for personal and/or business finance. (Choices include Mint, Quicken, Quickbooks, iBank, YNAB, Xero and several more we’ll discuss.) And, we will be recommending bookkeeping programs for folks in the US, Canada, Europe and other international folks.

We welcome international students! This community will have students from all over the world –in 2014, we had students in 17 countries, and in 2015 we had 370 students from 24 countries!— and we love the diversity and fresh perspectives this brings to us all!

95% of the material is “international-friendly,” if you will. The only pieces that might be irrelevant, or need tweaking for you are as follows: We will be covering some bookkeeeping/tracking systems that are only offered in the US, and we’ll also be covering some tax subjects that will not be relevant. That’s it! Know that we will also provide resources for tracking systems you can use in your country — and will make every effort to support you in this way. We’ll do some research for you, and make sure you have what you need.

EEEP I’VE GOT SOME RESISTANCE

You’re right on track. When people start truly engaging with money, resistance often (OK, almost always) shows up. This can look like paralysis, confusion, anxiety, or a dozen other things. We welcome and make space for all of this in The Art of Money experience and walk you through this tricky terrain with compassion and gentle tools. Thanks for being so aware – this will serve you so well in this program!

How astute and thoughtful of you. When facing any money decision, I recommend considering five main factors:

The Numbers: Do you know if you have enough money right now to make this purchase (this program will help you if you’re afraid to look at your numbers)? Also, brainstorm ways to create $88/month in your life (a few lattes here, scaling back there – it could be more possible than you think).

The Timing: Do you need this right now? Is your relationship to money calling (or screaming) to you? Have you been asking for this kind of support?

The Value: Is this valuable to you? If so, how valuable? Are you willing to spend your money to reflect this value?

The Cost: How much is it costing you to NOT give yourself this work? How is not doing this work hurting you or your relationships?

The Intention: Is this a self-loving decision? Are you ready to receive the value of this investment?

If you’re prepared to gently, lovingly hold yourself accountable for receiving the value of this investment …
If you feel empowered, trusting, and loving towards yourself in making this investment …
If you’re prepared to invest not only your money, but your mind, your heart, your time, and your consciousness, as well …

Then everything is aligned for you to receive a powerful return on your investment.

So: Take a deep breath. Check in with yourself. Look at your numbers. Consider the timing. Weigh the value. Reflect on your intentions. Is this your time? Only you can know!

We’ve got you covered on this one too. Remember: we’re all about conscious money decisions, so we want you to feel 100% clear and empowered as you decide whether The Art of Money is right for you. So here are some amazing resources to help you get even more clarity:

THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT
